Νιόβη Μπένου
Γεννημένη και μεγαλωμένη στη Θεσσαλονίκη, πτυχιούχος της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ. Ασχολείται με την τέχνη του flamenco από το 2002. Μετακομίζει στη Σεβίλλη το 2004 όπου θα παραμείνει για 4 χρόνια μαθητεύοντας στη Fundación Cristina Heeren, Academia Alicia Márquez και κοντά σε μεγάλους δασκάλους όπως Manuela Reyes, Pilar Ortega, Alejandro Granados, Yolanda Heredia, Juan de los Reyes, Rafaela Carrasco, Chlοé Brûlé, Leonor Leal, Ursula Lopez κ.ά. Το 2009 ιδρύει μαζί με τη Φλώρα Τσουκαλά το Studio Flamenco Pellizco στη Θεσσαλονίκη όπου και διδάσκει έως και σήμερα.
Στην πορεία της ως ενεργή χορεύτρια flamenco έχει συνεργαστεί με σημαντικούς Έλληνες και Ισπανούς καλλιτέχνες flamencο πραγματοποιώντας εμφανίσεις ανά την Ελλάδα όπως : Ana Gomez, Alicia Acuña, Andres Hernandez Pituquete, Γιώργος Καραλής, Πάνος Καρτίμπελης, Σωκράτης Μαστροδήμος, Roland Hoffman, Σπύρος Καρβέλας, Marcos Jimenez, Φίλιππος Πλιάτσικας, Γιώτα “Baron”, Δροσιά Χαρίση, Juan Granados, Vicente Gelo, David de los Santos, Ηλέκτρα Χρυσάνθου, Γιάννης Παπαγιαννούλης και το μουσικό σχήμα Motel Selenik.
Προσεγγίζοντας το nuevo flamenco αποτελεί σταθερό μέλος του μουσικού σχήματος Caja Secreta ως χορεύτρια-χορογράφος, το οποίο στη δεκαπεντάχρονη πορεία του έως και σήμερα έχει κυκλοφορήσει δύο δίσκους (Primero, 2012 – Partir, 2019) και έχει πραγματοποιήσει εμφανίσεις σε πλήθος μουσικών σκηνών/θεάτρων και σε σημαντικά φεστιβάλ και πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις ανά την Ελλάδα (Δημήτρια Θεσσαλονίκης, Sani festival, Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης, Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, Παραθιν'αλός, Melijazz Festival, Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ρόδου, Φεστιβάλ Άνω Πόλης, Δημοτικό Θέατρο Καλαμαριάς “Μελίνα Μερκούρη”, Θέατρο Αυλαία,  Duende Jazz Bar, Ζώγια  κ.ά).
Από το 2011 ασχολείται και με την πειραματική flamenco performance έχοντας παρουσιάσει το ντουέτο “TRANSIT” (2011) με τη Φλώρα Τσουκαλά στο Festival Flamenco Empirico (Βαρκελώνη), στο Coetani Flamenco Festival (Αθήνα) , τo Φεστιβάλ Κ.Ο.Θ Underground και RE:ACT Fesival στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Επίσης έχει συνεργαστεί με τον σύγχρονο χορογράφο Αλέξη Τσιάμογλου και την κολεκτίβα RoughCut για το κομμάτι “Crossroads” (2013) και το REQUIEM – a choreographed portrait (2016 - 2019) παρουσιάζοντάς το σε Θεσσαλονίκη (Studio Flamenco Pellizco, 5ο Φεστιβάλ Δάσους ΚΘΒΕ) , Λάρισα (Θέατρο του Μύλου) και Αθήνα (BIOS, Μέγαρον Underground).
Επίσης έχει συνεργαστεί με την ψυχολόγο Εύχαρις Παναγοπούλου και το Κέντρο Τέχνης και Οικογένειας “Σύζευξη” συμμετέχοντας ως χορεύτρια στις εκδηλώσεις Πολιτιστικής Ψυχοθεραπείας “Στην Πολυθρόνα με την Εύχαρις” στο Βασιλικό Θέατρο (Ιούνιο 2025, Νοέμβριο 2025)
Παράλληλα διατηρεί διαρκής επαφή με την εξέλιξη του flamenco παρακολουθώντας εντατικά σεμινάρια σε  Ισπανία  και Ελλάδα.

NIOVI BENOU
Born and raised in Thessaloniki, she is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has been involved in the art of flamenco since 2002. In 2004 she moved to Seville, where she remained for four years, training at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, Academia Alicia Márquez, and with renowned teachers such as Manuela Reyes, Pilar Ortega, Alejandro Granados, Yolanda Heredia, Juan de los Reyes, Rafaela Carrasco, Chloé Brûlé, Leonor Leal, Úrsula López, among others. In 2009, together with Flora Tsoukala, she founded Studio Flamenco Pellizco in Thessaloniki, where she continues to teach to this day.
Throughout her career as an active flamenco dancer, she has collaborated with important Greek and Spanish flamenco artists, performing throughout Greece, including: Ana Gomez, Alicia Acuña, Andrés Hernández Pituquete, Giorgos Karalis, Panos Kartimpelis, Sokratis Mastrodimos, Roland Hoffman, Spyros Karvelas, Marcos Jimenez, Filippos Pliatsikas, Giota “Baron”, Drosia Charisi, Juan Granados, Vicente Gelo, David de los Santos, Ilektra Chrysanthou, Giannis Papagiannoulis, and the musical group Motel Selenik.
Approaching nuevo flamenco, she is a permanent member of the musical ensemble Caja Secreta as dancer and choreographer. Over its fifteen-year journey to date, the group has released two albums (Primero, 2012 – Partir, 2019) and has performed at numerous music venues and theaters, as well as major festivals and cultural events throughout Greece (Dimitria Festival of Thessaloniki, Sani Festival, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Athens Concert Hall, Parathin’ Alos, Melijazz Festival, Rhodes International Festival, Ano Poli Festival, Kalamaria Municipal Theatre “Melina Merkouri,” Avlaia Theatre, Duende Jazz Bar, Zogia, among others).
Since 2011, she has also been involved in experimental flamenco performance. She presented the duet TRANSIT (2011) with Flora Tsoukala at the Festival Flamenco Empirico (Barcelona), the Coetani Flamenco Festival (Athens), the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra Underground Festival, and the RE:ACT Festival in Thessaloniki. She has also collaborated with contemporary choreographer Alexis Tsiamoglou and the RoughCut collective on the works Crossroads (2013) and REQUIEM – a choreographed portrait (2016–2019), presenting them in Thessaloniki (Studio Flamenco Pellizco, 5th Forest Festival of the National Theatre of Northern Greece), Larissa (Mill Theatre), and Athens (BIOS, Megaron Underground).
She has additionally collaborated with psychologist Efharis Panagopoulou and the Art and Family Center “Syzevxi,” participating as a dancer in the Cultural Psychotherapy events “In the Armchair with Efharis” at the Vasilikon Theatre (June 2025, November 2025).
At the same time, she maintains continuous contact with the evolution of flamenco by attending intensive seminars in Spain and Greece.
