Lapo Vannucci graduated with the highest honors from the "Cherubini" Conservatory in Florence, studying under Alfonso Borghese. He attended a two-year advanced course at the Fiesole School of Music and simultaneously participated in masterclasses with Arturo Tallini, Alvaro Company, Francesco Romano, Frédéric Zigante, and Stefano Viola. He earned a second-level academic diploma with highest honors and subsequently specialized with Alberto Ponce and Tania Chagnot at the École Normale de Musique de Paris "Alfred Cortot," where he received the Diplôme Supérieur d'exécution and the prestigious Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste. He has won numerous national and international competitions (Liburni Civitas, Città di Piove di Sacco (PD), Città di Massa, Città di San Sperate (CA), Città di Asti, Mendelssohn Cup of Taurisano (LE), Riviera Etrusca, Città di Grosseto, Riviera della Versilia, and the "Davide Lufrano Chaves" Guitar Competition), both as a soloist and in various chamber groups. He is a professor at the "Puccini" Conservatory in La Spezia and the artistic director of the "Giulio Rospigliosi" Guitar Competition. He performs an intense concert activity at prestigious institutions and music festivals in Italy and abroad (in Malta for the Victoria International Arts Festival, in Japan for a sixteen-concert tour, in Germany for the Havelländische Musikfestspiele in Berlin, the Neckar Musikfestival in Weinsberg (Stuttgart), and the Meisterkonzerte in Fürstenzell (Bavaria), in Spain for the renowned Fundación Andrés Segovia in Linares and for the Festival Internacional de Música S’Agaró, in France at the Salle Cortot in Paris, and in several cities in Romania: Bucharest, Onesti, Bacau, Ramnicu Valcea). He has premiered works by Luigi Giachino, Francesco De Santis, Matteo Pittino, Albino Taggeo, Giuseppe Crapisi, Teresa Procaccini, and Francesco Di Fiore's concerto for guitar, piano, and string orchestra. He plays a guitar custom-built for him by Japanese luthier Masaki Sakurai.
