Artistic Entrepreneurship: Artist or Manager?
Are you an artist looking to start your career or develop your own artistic business as a self-employed artist and don't know how?
Wondering how to succeed and how to organise your projects today?
Do you want to do a job interview or audition for a job and don't know what it takes?
In recent years it is a fact that a large percentage of artists - of all disciplines - are now self-employed, so that professionals in the field, in addition to their creative/artistic activity and aesthetic skills, need the necessary knowledge of the overall organization of a business or project and beyond.
"I'm an artist, what am I doing with budgets and schedules?"
If I'm a good musician* isn't that enough?

Sustainability is not a fashion
Trying to grasp the fundamentals of Sustainability we will explore it under the scope of the organisational level in order to be able to bring it down and apply it to team / ensemble level as long as individual level, in our professional as well as personal life.
Sustainability is not a fashion or trend, is a new business model for any type of organisations.
In specific, sustainability is the responsibility of organisations for their impacts on Society, Environment, Marketplace and Workplace.
Through this session we are going to touch upon the main notion of sustainability and its integration in organisation’s core operations. We will explore and elaborate on the adaptability of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the late EU Green Deal. Furthermore, we will analyse the principles, the key performance indicators (KPIs) and the standards that organisations can use to measure and report sustainability.
Nowadays, the adoption of sustainable strategies is considered critical more than ever. The so called “green” practices driven by long - term strategies, are the core elements for achieving a more balanced relationship between communities, environment, organisations.
By creating a shared road map for sustainability and green strategies we could achieve a huge betterment and enhancement of our endeavours towards the achievement of sustainable organisations in the near future.
