The chamber duo composed of Antonello Timpani, clarinet and Antonio D’Antò, piano (composer and conductor), professors at the "L. Refice "of
Frosinone, was born in 2019. The two musicians, already colleagues, share didactic passion, greatfriendship and multiple musical interests not separated from curiosity andtransversal repertoires.
From the very beginning, the Duo showed great interest in new compositionsby important Italian and European musicians.
Many composers, interested in the interpretativeversatility and the ability of the duo to create cultural bridges by interacting empathically withthe authors, have been stimulated to dedicate new creations to them.The first record production with "European Music" was born from this attention, containingpieces by European composers of various nationalities (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal,United Kingdom, Lithuania and Serbia) followed
by "UK4us" another discography containingdedicated pieces composed for the Duo by UK authors.
It organizes various concert seasons in the province of Rome and Frosinone.
He carries out an intense concert activity in Italywith participation in various musical seasons and abroad with concerts held in Lithuania(Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy of Kaunas, Panevezys Theater);Spain (Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla y Leon of Salamanca);Malta (Feel the Magic Music Festival in Gozo).
