Claudia Pochini is an Italian flutist, educator, and artistic director with an extensive international profile. She graduated in Flute from the “S. Giacomantonio” Conservatory in Cosenza and pursued advanced training with leading flutists in Italy, Spain, and France, including Patrick Gallois, Michel Larrieu, Philippe Bernold, Michele Marasco, and Andrea Persichilli. She further specialized in piccolo performance in Florence and completed advanced studies at the CNSM of Lyon and the Académie Internationale de Nice.

Awarded in numerous national competitions, she has performed widely in prestigious concert halls, festivals, and cultural institutions throughout Italy. In 2009, she founded the Alarico Flute Ensemble, an innovative flute orchestra dedicated to multidisciplinary projects combining music with theatre, dance, and visual arts. With this ensemble, she has developed an intense concert activity and produced critically acclaimed multimedia performances.
Pochini has served as artistic director of major concert series, including Classicamente, curating thematic seasons dedicated to musical heritage and interdisciplinary dialogue. She has collaborated with several orchestras, such as the Orchestra Regionale di Roma e del Lazio, Philarmonia Mediterranea, Orchestra Sinfonica Brutia, and Orchestra Filarmonica della Calabria.

Her discography includes recordings published with FALAUT magazine and chamber music albums dedicated to Italian repertoire. She is frequently invited as a jury member in national music competitions and has been actively involved in teacher training, music education, and certification programs, including Cambridge IGCSE Music.

She holds a Second-Level Academic Diploma in Chamber Music and Flute with highest honors, a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, and multiple teaching certifications, including Suzuki Method (Flute), Kindermusik, and special education methodologies. She has taught at several Italian conservatories and is currently Professor of Flute at the “N. Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari, while also teaching at a music high school.
