ABOUT MUSIC DIARIES 2024

The event will be hosted in Panorama ( Thessaloniki )  at the Municipal Conservatory of Pylaia-Chortiatis.
This event stands out as a unique convergence of various types of gatherings. It combines elements of a convention, with a focus on specific musical instruments, and adopts the traditional format of an academic research conference, with a dedicated emphasis on a particular instrumental domain. Additionally, it features an entrepreneurial section, an open call forum platform, master classes, workshops, and hosts the 2nd edition of the International Sheet Music Fair.

The primary aim of this organization is to bridge the gap between artistic production and academic research, creating opportunities for artists and researchers to share their knowledge and expertise for mutual benefit. It offers a comprehensive platform for attendees to engage in discussions, hone their skills through master classes and workshops, and explore the latest sheet music offerings, making it a multifaceted and enriching experience for all participants.

Λίγα λόγια για το MUSIC DIARIES 2024

Το φεστιβάλ θα πραγματοποιηθεί  στο Πανόραμα στη Θεσσαλονίκη, στο Δημοτικό Ωδείο της Πυλαίας-Χορτιάτη.

Η διοργάνωση συνδιάζει φεστιβάλ, ανοιχτή πλατφόρμα καλλιτεχνών, εργαστήρια, master classes, συναυλίες. Φέτος θα φιλοξενηθεί η 2η Διεθνής Έκθεση παρτιτούρας και μουσικών εκδόσεων εστιασμένη στις ειδικότητες που περιλαμβάνει φέτος το φεστιβάλ και την 7η έκθεση λογοτεχνικών βιβλίων και βιβλίων τέχνης.

Ο κύριος στόχος αυτής της οργάνωσης είναι να γεφυρώσει το χάσμα μεταξύ της καλλιτεχνικής παραγωγής και της ακαδημαϊκής έρευνας, παρέχοντας ένα πλαίσιο για καλλιτέχνες και ερευνητές να μοιραστούν γνώσεις και εμπειρίες. Οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να συμμετάσχουν σε συζητήσεις, να βελτιώσουν τις δεξιότητές τους μέσω μαθημάτων δασκάλων και εργαστηρίων, και να εξερευνήσουν τις πιο πρόσφατες προσφορές παρτιτούρας, δημιουργώντας μια πολυδιάστατη και εμπλουτιστική εμπειρία για όλους τους συμμετέχοντες.

Για να καταχωρηθεί το αίτημά μας και η εγγραφή σας, πρέπει να καταβληθεί το ποσό της εγγραφής στον λογαριασμό που αναγράφεται στη φόρμα αίτησης.
​Η κατάθεση πρέπει να συνοδεύεται από το σχόλιο "εισφορά για το φεστιβάλ" και το όνομα του σπουδαστή.
Το υπόλοιπο ποσό πρέπει να κατατεθεί έως τα τέλη Απριλίου, και ανάλογα με την ημερομηνία κατάθεσης, αντιστοιχεί το εκπτωτικό ή το κανονικό πακέτο.

For those who wish to be active members, they must select up to two teachers of their choice. For those wishing to attend ONLY workshops, they must select the workshop of their choice.All active members attend and ALL workshops are mandatory. 
Those who wish to have an additional individual lesson should be aware that there is an additional charge.
In order for your application and registration to be registered, the registration fee must be paid to the account listed on the application form.
The deposit must be accompanied by the comment "contribution to the festival" and the name of the student.
The remaining amount must be deposited by the end of April, and depending on the date of deposit, it will correspond to the discount or regular package.

​Join our OPEN CALL for young musicians, performers, artistic researchers, and anyone eager to showcase their projects on the Forum Platform. We invite proposals related to various subjects, including improvisation, pedagogies, 21st-century repertoire, Mediterranean music, extended instrument techniques, and more.

​Whether you're presenting a paper, lecture-recital, recital, or project, submit your abstracts and details by April  30, 2024. Please note that we do not cover accommodation expenses, but we offer affordable rates at partner hotels in the area.

If accepted, you'll receive an email of acceptance by May 10, 2024, and we can provide an invitation letter to assist with funding.
​Participation is free, and you'll receive a certificate of participation at the festival.

Στο Music Diaries φέτος τα εργαστήρια κιθάρας δημιουργούν μια κοινή θεματική ενότητα για το Let’s play together, που απευθύνεται σε προχωρημένους μαθητές, και το Ηχοεργαστήρι της κιθάρας, που απαρτίζεται από μαθητές των πρώτων τάξεων του οργάνου. Στόχος μας η περιγραφή στοιχείων της φύσης με τους ήχους της κιθάρας και η δημιουργία “ηχοτοπίων”.
 
 
Let’s play together Vol 2
Ελάτε να παίξουμε μαζί σε σχηματισμό ορχηστρικού συνόλου και με όχημα την μουσική του Κουβανού συνθέτη Leo Brouwer, να ταξιδέψουμε στη γενέτειρα χώρα του, περιγράφοντας στοιχεία και φαινόμενα της φύσης, με έργα όπως το “Cuban landscape with rain” και το “Acerca del cielo el aire y la sonrisa”. Με κοινή αφετηρία την αγάπη μας για την κιθάρα ελάτε να ταξιδέψουμε στον μαγικό κόσμο του συνθέτη και να διευρύνουμε τα όρια της φαντασίας και της δημιουργικότητάς μας.

Το ηχοεργαστήρι της κιθάρας “Guitar sound-lab” Vol 3
 
Το “ηχοεργαστήρι της κιθάρας” αποτελεί μια ομαδική δράση για τους αρχάριους μαθητές της προκαταρκτικής και κατωτέρας τάξης.  Χρησιμοποιώντας ήχους  από την  παλέτα του οργάνου και άλλων υλικών, αντλούμε έμπνευση από τον φαινόμενο της βροχής και δημιουργούμε την εικόνα ενός τοπίου. Παρουσιάζουμε την εξέλιξη του φαινομένου, καθώς αυτό κλιμακώνεται και σιγά σιγά υποχωρεί, μέσα από μινιμαλιστικά μοτίβα και μελωδικές γραμμές.Μια πρωτότυπη δράση για μαθητές κιθάρας,βασισμένη στον αυτοσχεδιασμό και τις δυνατότητες της ομάδας, με σκοπό την εξερεύνηση του οργάνου.

WORKSHOP  "Παίζω" με τη μουσική; Όταν το παιχνίδι γίνεται θόρυβος και ο θόρυβος μουσική, ο εκτελεστής παραμένει μουσικός ή γίνεται πάλι παιδί; Tο εργαστήριο απευθύνεται σε πιανίστες όλων των ηλικιών και επιπέδων καλώντας τους να εξερευνήσουν έργα του σύγχρονου ρεπερτορίου για σόλο ή ομαδικό πιάνο. Μέσα από την εργογραφία του τελευταίου αιώνα και με τη χρήση εξωμουσικών μέσων, το παιχνίδι έρχεται στο κέντρο της μουσικής εξερεύνησης και οι συμμετέχοντες ανακαλύπτουν νέους τρόπους για να "παίξουν" μουσική.

Το εργαστήριο αυτό απευθύνεται σε μουσικούς, χορευτές, ηθοποιούς, performers, σε όσους αγαπούν την τέχνη του χορού και της μουσικής. Το εργαστήρι Dancing Behind the Music απευθύνεται σε μουσικούς, χορευτές και performers που αγαπούν την τέχνη του χορού και της μουσικής.Θα πειραματιστούμε κινησιολογικά μέσα από καθοδηγούμενες βιωματικές και δημιουργικές ασκήσεις αυτοσχεδιασμού, όπου θα διερευνηθεί η καλλιτεχνική παλέτα.Θα μάθουμε  να ερμηνεύουμε  τη μουσική με έναν εντελώς νέο τρόπο, ανακαλύπτοντας πώς ενσωματώνουμε μελωδίες, ρυθμούς και μοτίβα στην κίνηση.Θα αποκτήσουμε ιδέες για το πώς η κίνηση μπορεί να ενισχύσει τη μουσική μας ερμηνεία, και αντίστροφα πώς τα μουσικά στοιχεία γίνονται εργαλεία για χορογραφικές δημιουργίες.

Master Classes provide participants with three personal sessions with all our guest pianists.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to perform in a gala concert, where an honorary audience prize will be awarded.
A welcoming dinner will also be part of the experience.
While lessons are scheduled daily, there will be ample opportunity to unwind, explore the city, or even venture to nearby towns.
For your convenience and continuous practice, each apartment is equipped with a piano.

Awarded in 2013 by the European Commission, the city of Pistoia has many places of artistic and cultural interest, but also moments of festivity and recreation.Pistoia is also nicely located for easy access to cities such as Montecatini, Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena.

Στη μνήμη του Γιώργου Μαυρομουστάκη, λάτρη της μουσικής και υποστηρικτή των τεχνών, ανακοινώνεται ότι θα χορηγηθεί υποτροφία σε νέους Έλληνες πιανίστες, που θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να συμμετέχουν στο Διεθνές Master Class πιάνου “Touch, Tone, & Technique: The Piano Master Class Series” στην Πιστόια, Ιταλία. Η επιλογή των νέων πιανιστών θα γίνει μέσω ακρόασης με βίντεο διάρκειας 10 λεπτών maximum που θα σταλεί μέσω email μαζί με ένα βιογραφικό σημείωμα και θα αξιολογηθεί από τους διοργανωτές. Οι διοργανωτές διατηρούν το δικαίωμα διάρθρωσης των βραβείων ανάλογα με το επίπεδο των υποψηφίων.

Οι πιανίστες ( μέχρι και 10 στο αριθμό) που θα επιλεγούν θα κληθούν να ολοκληρώσουν την εγγραφή τους, για να παρακολουθήσουν τα μαθήματα χωρίς κόστος το αργότερο μέχρι 31 Μαρτίου 2024.

Σημειώνεται ότι η υποτροφία καλύπτει το κόστος των μαθημάτων και ΔΕΝ  καλύπτει τα έξοδα διαμονής( 4 διανυκτερεύσεις) και εγγραφής τα οποία ανέρχονται στο ποσό των 190€ και θα πρέπει να κατατεθούν στον λογαριασμό της Villa Magni οπως υποδυκνύεται στην ιστοσελίδα, με αναγραφή του ονόματός σας.
Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στις ακροάσεις έχουν όλοι οι ταλαντούχοι νέοι πιανίστες ( Διπλωματούχοι, Πτυχιούχοι, Σπουδαστές Ανωτέρας σχολής ή και νέοι ταλαντούχοι σπουδαστές).
